A long ass chapter. Explained the Ruler's and Monarch's motives, reasons etc. Great explanation. Understood most of it. The chapter was incredible. And SJW arised himself xD That shit gave me goosebumps.
Explanation for myself:
Basically The Rulers killed their own creature to end the war mainly because he made 2 sides (Light and Darkness) to entertain himself. He didn't wish for the war to end while the emissaries (Light) wanted to end it.
The Shadow Monarch (at that time, he was just an emmissary) was the only one who defended the Absolute Being but his force was too weak to repel the forces of the Emissaries who rebelled against the Absolute Being (the Rulers later)
While he was on the brink of death, an unknown power awakened inside him. Something that he received from the Absolute Being. And everyone knows what power I'm talking about.
The Emissaries killed the Absolute Being already. They called themselves the new Gods (The Rulers) and used their powers to hunt the remaining forces of the ''Darkness'' (The Sovereigns)
Their powers weakened and The Shadow Monarch used that to join their forces. They had no choice but to accept his offer. And that's when he became known as the ''Shadow Monarch''.
He managed to build a massive army which was feared by both sides. That led to betrayal from his own side. Well, only two people on his side betrayed him. The Beast Monarch and The Monarch of White Flames. One ran away and the other one was killed (Baran, Monarch of White Flames)
The Rulers wanted the Shadow Monarch to forgive them and end the war. They could have killed him but decided to go on the ''safe route''. That made him confused and he hid himself.
As we know the Shadow Monarch hid one of the Monarch in himself (White Flames). He wanted to use that to destroy the forces of the Beast Monarch. But the Rulers were a step ahead and annihilated most of the forces.
Because of that, they escaped. The King of the Dragons did not permit any kind of fighting cause they had to recover. The Shadow Monarch decided to join their forces then.
Which led them escape to Earth. Well, they probably were confused cause a being greater than themselves appeared on Earth. So, they decided to destroy the Earth. The Demon Castle was the Earth from the past.
As the Shadow Monarch explained that the Monarch's reason of existence is Destruction. Then the reason of existence of The Rulers are to maintan the world. In a world without the Absolute Being.
And that's how a war came out again. The Rulers vs The Monarchs. Which led to COMPLETE DESTRUCTION. The Rulers decided to use the powers of the Absolute Being ''Cup of Reincarnation'' A tool that could turn back time by 10 years.
Even by doing that, The Earth was still too weak to fight against the Monarchs. So they invented ''Hunters'' and brought ''Gates'' to the world.
The Sovereigns (The Monarchs) utilized the Ruler's methods to create a plan on their own. The Rulers strengthened the world and the Sovereigns used their powers (using humans as hosts) to turn the entirety of Earth into one large trap. (probably erase the Earth?)
The Sovereigns possessed an incredible power so they needed a host (human) that was capable to hold their powers. But sadly, the powers of the Shadow Monarch and The Monarch of Destruction were too strong.
He made a plan with the ''Architect'', One of the most capable mages working under a king to find a host that was capable of holding the power of the Shadow Monarch.
The Architect used ''Games'' and ''Recreation'' to create a system that can hold the Shadow's Monarch power. But the Shadow Monarch decided to betray the Architect mainly because he was attached to SJW after observing him for a long time.
"I became you. You became me. No matter who becomes the owner of this body, it will not be strange. For we are already one." Such a great line.
He gave SJW two choices. To stay in the eternal world or to go back to the world that he came from. SJW decided to go back (ofc). Well, he has the full power of the SM now.
He'll be unstoppable for sure. ''ARISE''
