These two adults have been besties since elementary school and they can't sleep in a two bed hotel room together without being fully clothed and without a privacy sheet hung up between the beds?
I know these movies can't get too frisky, but this isn't the damn Great American Family channel.
Grow up, UPtv.

I like her because she understands this life, DUDE'S ALREADY DISCHARGED.
That angled wall in her parent's house under the staircase is an absolute deathwish.
He dumps her on the sidewalk and they're like , WELP see ya later in some tiny ass town.
The first 1/4 or so was basically unwatchable, but it does get better.

I hate when my mother watches a movie like this and because reasons, I also watch it. This one was especially annoying because I hate the whole “we have been friends forever but weren’t a couple, but now that one of us is romantically involved with someone else: Drama with a capital D!” subgenre. Not great, Bob!

This was a good friends-lovers movie. The leads are a couple in real life and one of the rare instances where they also have great onscreen chemistry too. So that’s what makes the movie worthwhile. I wasn’t crazy about Tiffany basically arranging her life around James but by the end, I was swooning over them as a couple.

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
The stereotype of military men getting married quickly lives on.

2023 Christmas Movie Merry-Thon #39
I like a good old fashioned friends to lovers story, throw in Christmas and a road trip home, and some fun could be had. But this lady has to be the stupidest person around. Who puts important family heirlooms that don't belong to you in a time capsule? Who doesn’t spoiler for ten years? There’s so many stupid decisions going on here. So many meaningful conversations accruing on a street corner. This movie is fine despite my head scratching at certain plot points. I was kinda bored by it to be honest. It’s helped that the stars are actually a couple in real life, they had a certain spark to them. It's fine I guess.

The movie’s premise is that the best friend is trying to break up their engagement so that he can get with her. WTF the script does not help with making anyone
Likable except for the fiancée who spends the whole movie being fucked over. -

Liked the friends to lovers here and the main actors. The story was decent but had some flaws.

When it comes to festive TV movie fodder, the more preposterous the central premise the better imo — and storing the two key plot devices in a time capsule for absolutely no reason is definitely up there. It also helps that both our leads are my types of hotties!! Self-knowingly stupid, some decent one-liners, and a ludicrous slow-mo scene to boot. Would I recommend? Absolutely fucking not but it's for sure going into my shitty Christmas movie rotation.

They should've popped the end result of this movie in a time capsule, try again in ten years.
